FAQ
1. What are"military style" dog tags?

Military dog tags are those that are issued to U.S. military service personnel for personal identification. Identification information, such as name & serial number, are embossed into the dog tag metal. Military dog tags are traditionally issued as a pair and worn by a chain around the neck. Our embossed tags use the same process to create an authentic military style.

2. What is an "embossed" dog tag?

Embossing is the machine process that physically stamps letters and numbers into the metal surface of the stainless steel dog tags. The effect causes the metal surface to deform into the protruding shapes of the stamped characters. This is the process that the military uses when it creates its dog tags.

3. What are "laser engraved" dog tags?

Laser engraving is the process of using a laser marking machine to burn microscopically small pits and traces into the surface area of our metal tags. Computers use sophisticated software to control the laser beam to draw our computer-generated graphic artwork. The result creates an extremely detailed image on an incredibly durable product.

4. What is the purpose of the silencers?

Silencers are rubber frames that are stretched to fit snugly around the outer edge of a dog tag. They prevent the "clanking" sound that can otherwise be heard due to dog tags rattling together when more than one is worn.

5. Can I create custom dog tags with artwork of my own?

  No.
